As a clinical therapist with nearly a decade of experience I can truly say people can change their lives by coming to therapy. The therapist can be their guide or mentor to that change. My main area of focus these days is helping clients ages 10-30 with clinical treatment for ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, and Depression. I also focus on working with athletes and helping them manage the demands of performance.
I am passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths and achieve goals. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting and more.I received my undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University and a graduate degree from National Louis University. Throughout my mental health career, I have worked in non-profit, youth development, crisis intervention, case management, and more.
I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace while building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I provide telehealth therapy for adults throughout Michigan, Massachusetts, and Illinois.
Feeling truly understood can be life changing, especially when you have spent so much of your life feeling like you have to explain yourself. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, or exploring your identity, therapy offers a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move toward the life you want to create. I work with adults and couples throughout the Chicagoland area, with a special passion for supporting LGBTQ clients and fellow immigrants as they build healthier relationships, greater self compassion, and a stronger sense of belonging.
I see that therapy can improve one’s ability to manage overwhelming emotions and stressors unique to each individual. I value relationships and meeting individuals where they are. My focus is on using your strengths and working together to identify healthy coping mechanisms and creating a strong support system in order to help you feel empowered to live your best life. I am passionate about working with Gen Z and Millennial clients. My approach to therapy is to tailor and personalize treatment depending on your own goals and needs.
I draw from evidence based practices in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Trauma Informed practices all while using a strength based approach.
My belief is that the client is the expert on his or her circumstances and that my job as a therapist, is not to dictate treatment, but to shape the process using the values, desires and needs of my clients while prioritizing our relationship. I look forward to building a relationship and working together to help you feel happier and empowered!

Hi, I’m Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed by complex trauma, big emotions, and the lasting impact of growing up in environments that didn’t always feel safe or supportive. If your brain tends to overthink everything, your nervous system is always on high alert (or totally shut down), or you find yourself stuck in people-pleasing or perfectionism — you’re in the right place.
I was an activist long before I was a therapist, and I bridge these approaches in my work. Chicago parents, queers, spoonies, feminists, sex workers, polyfolx and weirdos of all stripes: I got you.
