I’m Carlos Ruiz, a bilingual LCPC, psychotherapist, and Spiritual Director with graduate training in counseling and divinity. In my practice, I foster a safe, collaborative space where we can work together to help you move away from self-judgment and toward greater self-acceptance, curiosity, and meaningful connection. I work with individuals and couples navigating family issues, grief and loss, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, relationship and sexuality issues, transition struggles, anger management, and cross-cultural concerns. My hope is to help you discover the unreleased energy within you that can support healing, healthier living, and deeper connection with yourself and others.
My name is Misty East and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been providing therapy to adolescents, families, couples and the geriatric population for over 15 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns. My passion has been working with clients with trauma histories (sexual, physical and emotional).
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
My journey stems from my own story of resilience in the face of hardships. I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people through some of their darkest hours. Being exposed to some dark hours myself, I know that it is difficult to do it alone. When you have someone to confide in, assist you through the hard times, and just let you know that you are not alone, makes a difference.
My therapeutic approach includes CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFT, EFT, IFS, and just speaking like a human being. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is relational and personalized—we'll explore your story together, build coping tools, and move toward healing with curiosity, courage, and care.
Therapy with me is real, down-to-earth, and never boring. I mix honesty, humor, and heart to make the process comfortable. I help adults manage emotions, build confidence, and tackle life's challenges with tools that work. Think of it as a safe space to be yourself, grow, and maybe laugh along the way. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here. As a licensed clinical social worker, my goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel truly heard, understood, and supported.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, trauma, OCD, and other emotional challenges. Every person’s journey is unique, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs, strengths, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals from diverse backgrounds navigate life’s challenges. I use evidence-based approaches to help you gain insight, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready to invest in yourself, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in your everyday life
I get it — because I’ve lived it, both professionally and personally.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades in the corporate world, most of it in consulting, helping people and organizations improve performance and well-being. I also built and ran a company of my own, so I understand firsthand the pressure, high stakes, and constant push to hold it all together that come with building something from the ground up.
And in my own relationships, I know what it takes to communicate honestly, navigate conflict, and stay connected — the same things I help my clients work through.
I work with individuals and couples of all ages on anxiety, depression, burnout, executive and career stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and communication skills. I’m deeply focused on the connection between physical and mental health — sleep, movement, nutrition, purpose, and connection aren’t side notes to me, they’re central to how I think about wellbeing.
I hold a BA in Psychology, a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and an MSW, but what matters most is how I show up: fully present, genuinely empathetic, and committed to being real with my clients — even when honesty is the harder thing to offer.
Outside the office, I’m a long-distance runner, a music lover, a cook, and a lifelong collector of sports and trading cards.
I am a licensed therapist at Ananda Holistic Healing LLC; where I provide personalized therapy that addresses mind, body, and spirit. I combine traditional psychotherapy with holistic orientations-- including spirituality based counseling with an inner child and trauma-informed lens, somatic practices, relational skill-building and wellness lifestyle support. I create an individualized approach for each client. My goal is to help you find clarity, balance, and sustainable growth in your life.
Welcome! As a clinician who specializes in neurodivergent individuals and older adults, I believe in creating a safe and affirming space. I am certified as both a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I am fortunate to have many years of experience both working with individuals as well as supporting parents/caregivers.
A career woman, licensed attorney, mother, divorcee, and active community member, I bring my own life experience and vast education to my work.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience. My practice is a general outpatient practice, best suited for those who desire improvement in their love life, family life, work life, or in their physical health and wellness. My approach emphasizes the importance of practicing new behaviors outside of the therapy.
