I grew up in Massachusetts, and have lived in rural towns as well as cities throughout New England. I am a compassionate therapist who listens to you without judgement. You do not have to have everything figured out before you reach out. You just have to take one
step. I am Sharon, a licensed therapist (LICSW) in Massachusetts specializing in trauma, grief,
and the weight of experiences that do not just go away on their own. I bring a collaborative,
trauma-informed approach built on one core belief: healing happens inside a relationship where
you feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe to go at your own pace. Much of my career has
been spent supporting Veterans and others navigating life's hardest terrain, and I would be
honored to walk alongside you on yours.
My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe that healing occurs within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I work with each person to identify their strengths, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to achieve their goals.
I welcome adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences and strive to provide an inclusive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns and move toward greater well-being.
Whether you are seeking support for past trauma, coping with grief, managing stress, or navigating a difficult life transition, I would be honored to work alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
I have spent a majority of my training working across the lifespan from childhood to adulthood, and within family systems. I am trained in helping clients with stress and anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and depression. Some of the individuals that I work with are in recovery from eating and substance-related disorders. My clients often face school and work avoidance and may find it difficult to do things they once enjoyed.
As an independent licensed clinical social worker, with 12 plus years of experience and a current Ph.D. student, I approach therapy as a collaborative process centered on compassion, authenticity, and growth. My style is down-to-earth and supportive, while also gently challenging when needed to help you uncover patterns and build lasting change. I draw from evidence-based approaches—including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based practices—while always tailoring the work to your unique needs and strengths.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and recovery. My background includes years of experience supporting clients in both outpatient and community mental health settings, which taught me that true healing happens when people feel seen, safe, and empowered to take small, steady steps forward.
Clients often describe my style as calm, engaging, and practical. I believe in combining insight with action—helping you not only understand what’s happening but also find concrete ways to move through it. Whether we’re addressing past trauma, current stressors, or future goals, my goal is to help you reconnect with your resilience and rediscover a sense of meaning and momentum in your life.

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at Emmanuel College and earned my Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons College in 2012. I work with adults who want to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so they can feel less overwhelmed by anxiety or depression. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface and develop practical tools that support both your immediate relief and your longer-term goals.
